The Test Subject (closed with genesis1265)

The people of Paturnaxos were an academic sort. Centuries ago they had mastered intersolar travel, and had since studied every system and every planet they had come across. Most were empty, or provided some kind of rudimentary life, which they would intensely observe and measure and record. They would harvest some subjects to run more...extensive tests upon. The limits of the new life's body, it's physical and mental capacity, and possible genetic modifications to existing structures to either suit their needs or answer new questions they came up with in their quest for knowledge.

But never before had the Paturnaxians encountered a species that came close to rivaling their own intelligence, or at the least their own curiosity. That was, until they found Earth. After many years of observing at a safe distance, it came time to adopt the first subjects from this newly discovered planet. Rax, the chief scientist aboard his vessel, found himself waiting in the laboratory as his assistants brought one of the species before him.

Kyrin struggled against the aliens, scared out of his wits. He cried and struggled not knowing what they were going to do with him. He was forced from his home by them, not having any idea why. He just wanted to go back home but knew if these beings didn’t want him home he won’t be. He was distressed and a total mess. His light blonde hair was all over the place, his cheeks were covered in tears and he was shivering like crazy in fear and anxiety.

“P-Please let me go…I-I just wanna go home…” He said, sniffling and wiping at his tear stained cheeks. He looked at Rax scared and confused, wanting to know why they took him and what he was there for. “W-Why did you take me from my home…?” He asked softly, looking so scared and miserable.

"We need you, human," Rax coldly as he motioned for the others to bring him further into the lab. "This is a quest for knowledge I'd have expected the humans to understand. This is larger than you, and larger than me. It must be done," he looked to the assistants, "strap him down."

Kyrin shivered and freaked out a bit as the assistants came towards him. He struggled against them not wanting to be restrained. “N-NO! P-Please d-don’t tie me down! I-I’ll do what you want! P-Please!” He screamed, scared to be tied down. He didn’t know what they would do to him and that scared him enough. Being tied down would just make it worse and he was already having a panic attack.

"If you don't stop moving, I will have to sedate you," Rax warned, "and you don't want that. I don't know how humans react to that particular drug. Now...where were we...yes, hold still." The scientist grabbed a large needle and aimed it just below Kyrin's belly button. Before the human could react, he plunged it beneath his skin and injected the syringe's contents entirely within him.

Kyrin yelped loudly as the needle was plunged into his belly and its contents were released deep inside his belly. He shivered and cried but stayed as still as he could. “W-What was that?” He asked nervously, not knowing what they’d done to him but it felt really strange. He stared at his belly scared as if it was going to explode.

"Something to prepare your human organs for the reception of our fertilizer. Humans aren't perfect, I'm afraid," he said mysteriously as he waited for the injection to take affect. It would grow a small pocket in Kyrin's abdominal cavity and cause him to swell slightly. "Should only take a few minutes if I got the proportions right."

Kyrin whimpered, confused and scared. He just wanted to go home but he knew that wasn't an option. He gasped as me felt his belly swell a little and looked down at it scared. "W-What did you do? W-What you mean fertilizer? I'm a guy! I-I'm not made for having babies!" He yelled scared, feeling bloated and crampy from his belly expanding the way it had.

"The human male form was not made for prenatal development, you are correct." Rax turned and grabbed some measuring instruments and begun setting them alongside Kyrin's abdomen and hips and recording what he saw. "But through technology, you can be made to. We've done much research, and after a few failed experiments determined that females reacted poorly to the process. But males, however, handled it much better. After discovering that, we moved to Phase 2, which was to try an actual insemination on a live test subject--you."

Kyrin shivered scared and teared up not understanding why they needed him to have their eggs. Was he just an experiment or was there more reason behind why they were using him for this? If they needed him for it he'd feel better about it but to use him just for experimentation made him sick to his stomach. "W-Why use humans to carry your young? Is your kind unable to? Do you not have enough of your kind to carry young or something?" He asked nervously, looking at Rax as he measured him.

"It's a difficult process--one we no longer have time for. And we find that it's much easier for other species to make the sacrifice so that we can pursue more noble ventures." He lied a bit, not wanting to reveal the full truth to his captive subject. But all may be revealed in time should the human cooperate.

Kyrin nodded though he looked very confused. He was very nervous but at least he had a purpose now. He had to admit he was very intrigued by the beings and hoped while he was here he would be able to learn more about them. Even though he was scared he had always had a fascination when it came to pregnancy and had wished he could experience it. Though this was a very different situation than a normal human pregnancy. He had so many questions but figured he should start with asking about the pregnancy itself. "I um I do have some questions...how long will the pregnancy last and how many will I have? Do you know what sort of symptoms I will get from the pregnancy? How big...will they be and will they be ya know...born live or...eggs?" He asked, starting with that for now.

"You have a very curious mind," the scientist observed, "that's good to know. It'll make you much better company than my previous experiments." He continued to prepare a few instruments for the actual insemination. "The gestation will be shorter than a human's, about 5 of your Earth months. I'm not sure how many you will have, that is a part of the process we cannot 100% influence, though it will be more than one. Symptoms, we're not sure of entirely, as nobody has made it too far into one of the pregnancies. They will exist live within your new womb for most of the pregnancy, then your body in conjunction with our drugs will form protective shells or "eggs" around them before they pass from you. Is that satisfactory?"

Kyrin nodded, blushing lightly nervous that he would have more than one. "W-Were the other pregnancies failers or...never mind I-I don't wanna know...do you know the...max I can have?" He asked, nervously biting his lip. He was scared that it could be a lot but surprisingly he liked the idea of swelling with lots of eggs. it was the birth that made him anxious and scared. He then thought of how big they would be so decided to ask that as well. "Also...h-how big will they be?" He looked very nervous after asking, worried about the answer. Rax himself seemed bigger than an average human so he figured that his kinds babies would be big too.

"I'm not sure how many you can have..." Rax pondered, "that will just have to be something we'll test later with greater numbers of implanted zygotes--good idea. As far as size, they should be about 12-15 pounds each. Perhaps a little more, depending on how your body nourishes them."

Kyrin’s eyes widened dramatically hearing the size of the eggs. His breathing picked up and he started freaking out. “B-But…no…no way! That’s way too big! H-How could I birth something that big!?” He asked loudly, tearing up and panicking. He couldn’t imagine birthing something so large and it terrified him.

"Calm down!" Rax shouted. "The pregnancy should prepare your body aptly for the delivery. You should be fine so long as you're focused and calm through the whole experience."

Kyrin shivered, still scared but nodded looking down. "D-Did that serum stuff ya know....make it so I have them...naturally or...anally?" He asked blushing brightly. He didn't even know which idea sounded better as he didn't know what having feminine parts felt like.

"The injection I gave you should develop a new system your body can use to deliver, not exactly a human vagina, but close enough for your understanding."

Kyrin blushed brighter and nodded. He was curious about the effects the serum would have on him and how the birth canal he would develop would feel like. He wondered if it would feel anything like an actual vagina and if he could get pleasure from it. He bit his lip at these thoughts and laid back on the table. He was nervous for what would happen next but also somehow excited to see how this would all turn out. He was a curious person and although he knew that it wouldn't be easy he was excited to learn about all these beings could teach him. He was intrigued and excited to see the changes and experiences that would come with the pregnancy.
