Scott answered, "To be honest, I'm a little nervous. I've never been so far from home. I'm glad you're going to be there, though. That will make it easier to adjust if I see a friendly face."

The two friends walked to the library.
When they entered the library, Scott noticed how big it was. He was sure there were plenty of hiding spaces where students could get into trouble.

As Sean looked around, he saw a big book.
Scott watched as Sean moved towards one of the shelves, so he followed. He locked his eyes on the same book.

"Sean, what is that? It looks pretty old," Scott inquired.

"Looks like a spell book." Sean said.
"A spell book? I thought that sort of thing was make-believe."

"I thought so too, but here is one." Sean said.
"What does it say? Can we get some magical powers? Can we turn things into animals?" Scott became excited with the thought of being able to used magic.

"Which one do you think I should try? How about I give you wings? Or maybe I could turn you into a dog?" Deep down, Scott didn't really believe this could work, but he loved pretending with Sean.
