"True.. especially when he dont really have needs us human have. Well... I guess you can stay here in this cabin. Only I would come around. This isnt much but at least this is shelter."

"Thank you for giving us just that."

"Er... what do you want really?" Lance wasnt sure if there is sarcasm in that "just that".

"For him to be normal. Truly safe," Scott murmured with a small sigh, knowing that other angels would try to come after them both.

"Should you go to my place in the city then? Will it be safer to be blending in instead of being out here all on your own?"

[lxcttrll]

"I don't want to intrude on anything," Scott spoke honestly, though he knew that it would be easier to hide in a large city versus a small cabin in the middle of nowhere.

"No, I live alone anyway. You wouldn't be intruding. Great that's all set! I will be returning to my home in a few days. You may needed a bit of adjusting but I am sure everything will turn out to be fine."

"Thank you," Scott murmured, hesitantly pressing a kiss to his cheek before pressing another kiss to Riley's hair.

"Woah...." Lance was suprrised to be receiving a kiss. "Is that.... does it mean you....am I thinking too much here to assume that meant you are..." lance stuttered a bit not really knowing what he wanted to say.

"It's supposed to be a sign of affection, but I don't know how humans truly show their affections, so you can disregard that if you need," Scott responded, voice becoming quieter and quieter as the sentence went on.

"No of course I.. Yes, I mean yes kissing is a sign of affection and no, I wouldnt disregard it. I....I think I am quite fond of you. Like more than I should and maybr I am imagining too much here. Considering you had just lost your mate not that long ago and that we are... not really of the same kind, i wasnt sure if that affection can or will it turn into something more." It was Lance's time to become quieter and quieter.

"We'll see what happens, I suppose," Scott smiled weakly, secretly loving how Lance looked holding his son.

"So... does it mean we get a chance here?" Lance's whole face lit up at that. He stood up quickly, although careful not to wake the infant, and got closer to Scott.

"I believe we do," Scott's smile widened with a blush, reaching out to place a hand on Lance's back as he stood suddenly, other arm under where he ws cradling the slumbering fledgling.

Scott's supporting hand had made it possilbe for Lance to free a hand out and he wrapped it around Scott, pulling him close to kiss his forehead. "Thank you! I will try my best in making this work."

"Don't feel so obligated, Lance," Scott laughed softly, allowing himself to shift closer to the human.

Lance grabbed both tight feeling suddenly strong with a family to protect over. He knew these 2 probably was much stronger than him, even little Riley but it didnt mean he couldbt do anything to protect them back.

Scott laid his head on Lance's shoulder, watching over Riley with pure love in his eyes. "Humans have middle names, yes? Do you think Riley will need one?"

"Ha we could. What's his and your last name actually?" Lance asked, revelling in how Scott laid his head on his shoulder, feeling this as a sign of trust.
