Jace bit his lip before taking the kids to their room and making sure they were entertained before going back lying next to him stroking his cheek "Are you okay?"

Liam smiled in the dark " I'm fine for now....there not close yet but baby the powers out go find flashlights and towels..."

Jace nodded "Okay, Ill be right back" he said softly quickly going to grab things he may need

The contraction got stronger and Liam held his contracting stomach in pain

Jace came back with the things he needed. He went up to him brushing his hair back "You okay?"

" contractions getting intense...." Liam moaned " baby...what if I need a doctor remember he said my hips are pretty close toghether what if I can't do it..."

Jace held his face in his hands "Hey, just breathe, your body will be fine. Remember he said the same thing to me? And then I birthed the twins?"

Jace stroked his cheek "But we both know that's because I was stupid and pushed when you told me not too. And it wasn't til the second baby anyway"

Liam nodded and sighed " true true...just one but what if something goes wrong what if it's not breathing...."

Jace kissed him softly "One, lets not think about that and two, Ill do CPR"

Liam nodded but he was so scared it would be a still birth he saw jace go through it and he didn't know if he could

Jace sighed "What are the chances of it happening twice to us anyway?" he said quietly looking down imagining Harper in his arms. They had chosen his name during labor to distract Jace. He sniffled quietly

Jace nodded silently and rubbed his eyes "Sorry..." he said quietly. He felt so weak crying over it, he felt weak in general from the fact he couldn't have the baby and keep him alive.
