Leniad remembers to grab his leash before chasing after them. the trip was quick, down a few corridors, up some stairs, down more corridors, but it felt like it took forver to the lion. he was given hated glances, run into intentionally and more than one occasion someone would jam their fingers into his barely bandaged wounds. by time they go to the diplomats offices his bandages were alresdy starting to show fresh blood spots.
