Leniad had indeed woken up, although he was groggy and to him it felt like he was drunk but without any of the fun. He had an IV in his arm giving him intravenous fluids to make up for his dehydration and lack of almost any nutrients. his body ached although it was more a dull throb, something that would no doubt get worse as the painkillers wore off.

Cyan didn't respond to the slap. The wound on his side no evident by a large and fetting larger red blood stain on his side. He panick had caused the blood to thin and flow faster as such he was bleeding out. He hadnt been treated properly and now he was paying for it. The fact that his cear was neglected should enrage isai.

"oh for... GENERAL GET IN HERE!" Isai called getting him to rush in "Quick get him to the hospital! his care is nomber one priority! if he died we can kiss the aliance goodbye!" he was to the point having the general lift him he quickly found the bleeding spot and applied pressure "Lets go!"
Cyan woke up an hour or so later in his own bed with Leniad sitting next to it, slumped over and sleeping with his head on Cyans hand. he clearly had spent the whole time sitting with him despite the fact he wss injured too.

Cyan sat up wincing but leaned down and kissed lenaids. Cheek. He stroked his fluffy ear a true affection for the lion deep down. He looked around and found they were the only ones in the room. He shifted his attention back to leniad. The white lion was truly sweet and charming. He smiled at the cuteness of his face he looked like a stuffed animal.

Leniad groaned softly and slowly stirred awake. he didnt care if he should have been laying down, he wanted to be close to his mate. he didnt even know he was pregnant yet and that his current position wasnt a good one to be in. his face had once again been bandaged, covering his eye, and most of his body was bandaged due yo just how badly he had been tortured even at his mates hands. "Y...your awake" he says softly looking up at him with his sapphire blue eye "You had me worried... Diplomat Isai was furious they hadnt treated you propperly... what did the Diplomat tell you that had you panic like that?"

"Well I'm were gonna have cubs." He said holding his mates head in his hands. "You should realy be laying down its not a good postion for an expecting cat." He said looking at him with soft eyes.

he blinked "Wha... b...but... we only... i...im gonna be a... mother? father?" he asked "H...how do they know f...fo certain? they only stitched me shut didnt they?"

"No they took a small blood sample dont worry ill be here for you." He said gently stroking his ears in an efforts to calm him.

he whimpered a little and looked down to his belly "But i...im not r...ready" he says with a light mewl "I...im under nourished... and injured still and... a.. a slave..." he gave another light whimper unable to hide the slowky growing purr at the petting.

"And youv got me And nine whole months to get better. Im not going anywhere so lay with me and calm your nerves." He said gently patting the bed beside him.

he gives a whimper "B..but i...im only a slave" he says softly "I...i shouldnt sleep inyour bed... as a slave i should be lucky to have one at all" he mutters eyeing the warm comfortable sheets longingly.

he murphs and nods getting up slowly he slips into the bed. he would have stipped off but other than his bandages all he had on was a flimsy loincloth. standard slave wear. "im... im sorry i just.. i guess i need to get used tk being your mate behind doors and slave infront" he says as he gets as comfortable as he can.

"Open or closed your mine and I'm not letting you stray far from me. You carry royal cubs wich makes you royalty. When I ascend the throne youll be treated as such." He said snuggling the smaller lion. He was happy to be close to his mate it was comforting.

he blushes and purrs softly "R...really?" he asks softly "Heh.. from street rat to royalty... and last week i didnt think id be alive by the end of winter" he says "Specially seeing as its going to be a vold one this year" (have it heading into winter)

"I don't wanna hear you utter one more bad word or else." He gebtly wraped his arms around him resting his head on the smallers shoulder cearfuly. His eyes were soft and he seemed so content.

"It was less bad words as just bad potential" he says with a shrug and shuffles back a bit pressing himself closer "Winters have always been hard.. and seeing as its getting cold out already... i doubted i would have made it... but you saved me, thankyou my mate"

"Your welcome my precious." He said closing his eyes still groggy from the pain killers.

he purred loudly and started to doze off again "mmm i...im hoping that some nights you can... sleep fluffy" he says and nuzzles at his arms.

"If things go well soon enough ill always be fluffy." He said groggy. He was fighting sleep.
