Eli shook his head and smiled slightly, it was a bit feeble and wobbly in nature "I appreciate the offer... Do we have to have sex in exchange for this protection?" Eli asked, trying to make a joke of his earlier fuck-up with Jace.

Eli pulled his dinner back to him, slowly eating at the weird looking potatoes and meat... It was terrible tasting, but it was better than starving.

Eli laughed and kicked Jace lightly in the foot with his boot "Alright, how much is next month? And every month after that?" Eli asked quietly, although the question brought up the fact that... Someday, Jace would not be here, and Eli still would be. Eli sighed and tried to shake the thoughts away, but now they were there and hammering at his mind like a woodpecker.

Jace chuckled as he was kicked lightly "Well, if I told you you wouldn't subscribe? You'll just have to wait for the bill" he said winking at him and laughed lightly. Eli nodded and grabbed two towels from their bunk before trotting after Jace - he whipped the towels against the younger man's ass and then quickly took off toward the bathing area. Laughing the entire way as he did so - He did almost slip when heading into the bathroom, but he maintained control of his body and used the slip to his advantage by doing a full-spin on his slick boots, turning to face Jace with a triumphant grin on his face.

Eli stripped his clothes off and hung their towels up on the bars -- No one was even remotely in the shower area, as most people took them in the morning. Eli stepped close to Jace and ran his fingers lightly over the bruises on Jace's arms "I'ma kill those bastards... each and every one of 'em... for marking you like this." Eli said quietly, his voice dangerous and low.
