The days slow passed, Maxwell's belly continued to grow in size but the roundness was never lost. Having fallen asleep on the couch, the book was laying there on his chest as he snoozed. HIs belly looked due with twins and his shirt was struggling to keep it in. The buttons looked ready to fly off.

Matthew slept for the next few hours in his room. Though he was worried about his brother Max it had taken him awhile to fall asleep because of it. Though for now he would just sleep and worry about that later on he had no idea what was going on with his brother since he had gone to bed earlier that night.
A slight groan left Maxwell as he tossed slightly in his sleep. The book's magic seeping into him even though he wasn't reading it, so long as it was open, it would affect the last person to read it. His belly started to swell slowly, the buttons being torn apart and sent flying as his stomach grew in size. All the while, Maxwell was somehow still asleep. A few gurgles left the mass as it climbed in size. The magic from the book putting more of its power into the sleeping man as it further impregnated him. A few moans left Maxwell as his hands went to the mass to rub it. All buttons on his shirt having been destroyed. Thus revealing a growing round ball of flesh.

Matthew rolled onto his side still asleep at the moment. Though he couldn't help but feel like something was going on at the moment but he couldn't do anything. Getting up half through the night he made his way to the bathroom though at the moment he was half asleep and half awake at the moment as well. When he got to the bathroom he used it before heading back to his room yawning he blinked when he heard a moan come from the living room but couldn't see anything since it was dark.

Despite the growing preassure in his stomach as he grew, Maxwell remained asleep. Course with the arrival of his brother and a light switch just in reach of them. The lights would turn on and Matthew would see what was moaning. The size of the mound clearly growing and the rate of growth was starting to increase. The book laid on the floor wide open and with it open, the magic wouldn't stop. Maxwell's eyes slowly opened due to the light getting to him.
"Turn the light off..." Maxwell groaned, not yet noticing his growing stomach.
