The night was getting cold, but the omega cared little, only making effort of warming his womb. In his sadness, he didn't know that he had cried himself to sleep. But even aware, Lumin hopes that all he saw was nothing but a horrible dream he would soon wake up from.
White fur shivered, and breaths were shaky from the cold, but the taur remained peacefully asleep. Thank all gods that he didn't had any misfortunes from sleeping on the ground. He was peaceful when suddenly a loud sobbing noise woke him. Weakly, sleep eyes opened. His vision adjusted to view a dark haired centaur. It was Gerard. Not knowing if he had been still dreaming or not, he moved to reach a hand that cupped the face of the alpha softly. The pale hands were cold, the mate could have tell.
Seeing that it was for real, tears began flowing again. Even more when he saw his husband worriedly checking him over, like the alpha he knew would do. Maybe it was his mistake after all. Maybe he should have put trust more on Gerard. He sobbed I'm sorry...
He was reminded of the foals when Gerard asked about his well-being. He scanned the belly through his hands, and was relieved to feel the kicks of the little ones. But then a pain tightened on his stomach. The omega winced and gripped the womb, curling to himself. Something's not right.
With weak panicked eyes, he looked to his mate.
G-Gerard....the b-babies... Mrs. D-Dash...wood! Mmmhhh...!
