Parris could only urge them go faster as they pressed on. Hearing Alcove's question, he raised his voice in the wind. "About halfway. Let's pick up tbe speed, we would be back soon enough." He said as the troop spread out to both distract the chasing human and also to collect more information from them, already preparing for the upcoming battle that would be unavoidable with this conflict.

Alcove picked up the pace, taking long strides to keep up with parris he heard the sounds of men and the clashing sound of swords and roaring. he felt his calf muscle give out causing him to limp ,he continued to run trying to ignore the pain as much of a blessing it was to have no ageing organs and bones he still had to work and train his body to be able to with stand the strain of this fast pace life spacically when their life's are counting on it.


Raven was sitting in the rocking chair facing the window . he was resting his feet and felt it was his responsibility to be the first to greet his mate and the others at the door , with his hands supporting his under belly he rocked back and forth comforting the little vamplings sensing it was close to thief feeding time he sighed missing his lover deeply ."Oh.. please be okay..." He whispered in a worried tone watching the door hoping his mate will come back safe .

Parris wasnt expecting Alcove to have a physcial strength that's so much below his expectation. He took the unconscious Alex and waved over his guards to take Alcove and together, they muttered a spell to quickly vanish from the site under a brillianr white light. Parris didt want to do this to attract too much attention, yet thibgs were getting so out if hand it forced him to utilize it.

They reappeared in tbe mansion, Parris was able to hold Alex steady but the guard wasnt with Alcove being much heavier. A group of maids and servants rushed forward to take.over them as Parris went over to hug Raven. "Love.... i'm so glad to see you again." He said squeezing Raven tight.

Alcove was trying his best noticing the distance growing between them he felt someon lift him up from behind thankful for his brother giving him some assistance.he blinked startled at everything becoming blurry seeing the walls of the mansion and seeing his younger brothers mate looking just as shocked before a joyful showed .

Raven placed his hand against his belly walking to his mate with open arms slipping into a deep embrace scenting his mate ." I missed you so much dear... please don't do this again I was close to having a heart attake if you didn't return.." he said with teary eyes cupping parris cheek.

Alcove was standing on his good leg allowing the nurses and maids escort him to the sick bay along side his mate being carried away .He watched feeling responsible for causing all of this but his pride said other wise he took one more glance towards parris then limped his way to the room.

Alex whimpered when she felt her bonded mate's scent vanishing, using the last of her energy, and eventually lost herself to a deep slumber while the nurses tend to her wounds and replenish her vitals as best as they could. She's safe, the bloodloss not really life threatening, it would only make her weak for days ahead.

Parris kissed Raven all over. Seeing Alcove captured reminded him how it could have been him, and how would Raven be if he was indeed gone. He would have to come up with a plan to eliminate any threat, especially since his mate's in such a delicate condition. "I am here now, don't worry... I will always be here..." He said moving his hands up and down Raven's waist, then chuckled when he sensed how large the belly had gone. "Another growth spurt! I couldn't believe i missed that...." He bit back the last comment saying his waddle had returned, but the mischievous smile on his face somehow betrayed his amusement.

Alcove was in bed staring up to the ceiling very hungry still ineed of blood he kept his desire for more silent not wanting to distract the maids and nurses from his own mate . his gaze was blurry making it difficult to focus on one thing but he simply just closed his eyes taking a nap hoping his mate will be okay .

Raven listened to his dear beloved husband seeking more comfort from him . he noticed the small chuckle and looked up seeing parris face curl into a mischievous grin he felt somewhat curious about what could be on his mates mind , glancing down at his belly remembering the other comment dealing with his growth spurt ." Yes they've been growing quit a lot ... I'm not sure what triggered it.. but they seem to be growing strong and healthy "

Alex's basically settled when the nurses turned to Alcove, only to find him losing consciousness. They were at a lost what to do. Alcove was in need of medical care every bit as much as Alex, though his reputation around had gotten the medics deliberately choosing Alex to tend to first, not to mention Alex had always been one of their owns. One of the nurses quickly went to Parris to ask for directions.

"I am glad that they are growing strong and healthy... they wouldn't happen to be doing this to protect their mama, since they sensed I am gone?" Parris teased rubbing Raven's lower belly, caressing the sensitive skin on the lower side. He was about to say something more when a knock was heard, and he was updated of Alcove's situation. "This brother of mine....." Parris sighed as he shook his head. "Raven, care to join me in the ward to see how what we should do with this troublemaker?"

Alcove laid in bed zooming out of his sleep he was trying to stay conscious but slip into being unconscious he was no longer responding to the maids or the sounds of them walking back and forth to his mate
He was becoming weak and frail

Raven blushed when he heard his mate talk and buried his face against purris kissing his chin"I don't suppose.. but it might have been that " he said smiling from his mates touch enjoying his midsection being messaged - he looked towards the door seeing a nurse rush into the room bringing troublesome news/ updates on his brother. "Oh dear.." He said looking up to his mate giving a node .
Raven waddled alongside his giving himself a good work out.

Parris could see how the sudden growth spurt affect Raven's balance seriously. His belly was large now, almost like he was full term for there are again, more than one baby in him. Parris nudged close against Raven and held his waist, half carrying him as they proceeded down the long corridor to the medical ward. "What had been given to him?" He then turned to ask the nurse, and sighed when teh response was silence. "I see.... prepare the replenish. My brother had been knocked unconscious so there could be a wound on his head. the blood replensih potion should be as much as Alex's. Now go." He said ordering the nurse to go before them.

Raven was holding onto parris arm trying to walk without the feeling of tipping over . he snuggled against his mate happy to have him to lean against , he placed a hand against his own belly feeling the little vamplings move around they seemed excited about something it made raven giggle seeing the little ripples underneath his hand from them kicking and wiggling around trying to get their father to play with them ."It seems to me they can agree with you love.. they're a hand full and very strong sometimes they startle me when they play this game haha" Raven said rubbing his belly.

Parris' frown loosened hearing Raven's chuckle, which always was soothing to him. He touched his belly gently as well and felt the ripple of movement immediately, shich brought a heartfelt smile to his face. "That's some energetic fellas. Let's hope tbey wouldnt inherit the stubbornness of their uncle. Come on, let's give him a visit." He said taking Raven's form more squarely as he marched forward, holding his waist steady as they proceeded, sharingthe weight.

When they arrived, the nurses were just about to force open Alcove's mouth to get the potion in.

Raven was waddling alongside his lover smiling when he made a comment about their energy he chuckled kissing parris cheek resting his hand above parris. When they arrived into the room raven looked very concerned barely recognizing him.." what did they do to his hair?.. and what are those symbols for?"
He asked looking to his lover for a comforting reply.

Alcove wouldn't let them pour the potion into his mouth he turned trying to keep them away "fuck off...." he mumbled .

Parris settled his lover first, putting.him.on the bed beside so he could see what happen from a safe distance. He kissed Raven first, lightly on hsi forehead and belly. He smiled at how pregnant Raven looked now, but his face soon turned into a stern one answering his mate. "He's been captured and abused by some so called vampire hunters. Those humans just chained him up and... did whatever transformation they thought fit to him. He...." he squeezed Raven's hand. "He would be ok though. Everything's gonna be fine." He said that ebfore turning his attention to Alcove.

He pulled the vampire up to rest him on his chest, and took the potion before saying in a hypnotising voice. "Open ypur mouth and drink this, this is the only way you could reunite with your family. Thank.about your babies, Alex, and everything dear to you..."

Raven sat down draping his cozy blanket over his lap watching listening to his mates answer seeming very interested in finding out more about these vampire hunters " I always though this kind of stuff was just make believe... but its so real haha !" He giggled only to frown seeing alcove wake up more seeing the frustrations of being treated like an object all over his face. " I hope he'll be okay too" He said rubbing his tummy feeling the babies reacting to the heavy ness in the room.

Alcove listened to his brother gaping his mouth open taking the potion grimacing from the fowl taste it left in his mouth"hmm...Nnmn ..this tatse like shit.... why the fuck would you feed this trash to me.?..at least mix it with wine " he said with his classic prideful manner like always.

Seeing Alcove's trademark whine had Parris sneering. "Had you not been in need of this, i wouldnt be forcing it to you. Besides, if you are as strong as you tried to sound, you woukdnt be leaning against me like this." He said glancing at how Alcove basically just leaned against him, without an ounce of energy left in him.

Alex beside shifted. She had developed a fever without anyone noricing, and was mumbling incoherent things while she fidgeted in her coma. Somethig seemed to be wrong with her.

Alcove rolled his eyes before trying to lean back down on the bed he sensed Alex near by peeking over parris shoulder getting small waves of energy from the potion he lifted his arm up trying to grab onto the arm rail on both sides of the Bed. he ignored the smart talk from his brother not waisting his brain cells on such things ." Well of course your my own little stepping stool...little brother I'm glade you finally know you place .." He said trying to move away to look at Alex , the mate he was never expecting to ever have .. and further more the mother of his children he never expected to have.

Alcove used all the strength he had to walk ober to her bed unsure of what to think seeing her lay there unconscious." I'm sure once she wakes up... I'll be a free vampire all this shit I put her through and we haven't even known each other for that long ." he whispered to himself looking at her face .

two small cries echoed from the hallway causing Alcove to turn around heading to the door ."Who is that?... *pushes the door open witnessing caretakers tending to his offspring*..." Alcove said nothing backing out of the room the reality of his life hit deep making it hard to focus .

Parris didnt even bother to stop his brother who was as headstrong as always. He decided he had had enough and since Alcove consideref himself strong.enough to move, he wouldnt be there to stop him. He could stumble all he wanted. Parris returned to Raven and buried his head into Raven's bossom, immersing himself in th3 soothing scent of his.mate. "I sometimes really didnt want to have anything to do with my idiotic brother.... yet i just couldnt leave him.alone."

When the cry of her children reached her, Alex's hand twitchrd like she wanted to get up, but she was still too weak for that. It was her mate's disappearing scent that finally gave her enough motivation to force open her eyes. "Al...." she muttered cracking her eyes open.

Alcove watched through the window of the door silent he hear the cracky voice looking over his shoulder heading back into the room noticing Alex wide awake . his body tensed up unsure of what to do or even say .He glanced towards his brother .

Raven before hand was snuggling parris giggling when he approached the loving expression on his face when his mate took so much enjoyment of his sweet scene made him very pleased to have such a loving partner to call the father of his young. Raven kissed the crown of his head."I love you!"

Alex was feeling like her eyelids weighed a tonne, but when she managed to move them, her gaze was fixated on Alcove. Trembling, she treid to reach for Alcove, but half way through, her arm dropped back down on the bed and she whimpered. Her eyes spoke of plead, desperately wanting to get near to her mate in this moment of weakness.

Parris smiled into Raven at the kiss, and when he opened his eyes, he almost laughed at how lost his brother appeared, obviously not knowing how to deal with his mate. As if demonstrating, Parris sat up and hugged his pregnnat mate tight. He smothered Raven with butterfly kisses all over his face and got him giggling so hard, his belly was jiggling. He quirked up his eyebrow like he was challenging Alcove in making his mate happy like that.

Alcove watched his parris feeling the competitive impulse to out do his younger brother, walking to the side of the bed looking down at Alex he started by grabbing her hand ,clearing his throat . Alcove wasn't that close to Alex since this relationship wasn't really planned .. it was mostly forced apon him when Alex went bad ass siren and knocked him up,But.. He couldn't allow parris to win so he took a deep breath , lowered himself close to Alex, kissing her . " ...um. get well soon.. *clears throat again* well um I know you must be tired so... Rest up" He said feeling awkward scratching the back of his neck ,glancing back towards his brother sighing . He was unable to out do him simply because he was never much of a team player ... he enjoyed being single and only had feelings for one person , And that one person was taken from him twice." I'll be in my bed ... I feel dizzy..." He huffed walking to the bed across the room it had a curtain for extra privacy.

Raven was enjoying the sudden burst of affection giggling so much it made his child bearing tummy jiggle . he snuggled against parris letting his mate know the vamplings were awake now . he turned seeing alcove walk to his bed area." what's wrong ? is he okay? " raven said, looking very concerned .
