Herek was relieved to know that Aron was feeling great, save for the back aches. That sort of made him feel bad, especially since his heavily pregnant lover brought him lunch in the first place. He opened the bag, revealing the contents inside. It usually was a favorite of his, hummus on most occasions. Aron usually made bigger meals given his cravings and that made Herek glad, but partially guilty too. Gladly guilty, he could say.
"Judging from this" he chuckled. "You must have fixed you something big again."
He slowly nibbled on the contents. If it was up to him, he would have it at the house as not to burden the figure before him, but he wanted to show gratitude, so he took his time, had some of the drink, and babbled here and there about how terrible the campus's main cafeteria was on most occasions. When the meal was done, he discarded the empty contents and rather than go upstairs, he motioned to the exit door instead.
"Car's just right out there," he insisted. "Let's get home!"
