Connor had hardly recognized Christine. Probably due to the fact he had just awoken. He loopily rubbed his eyes to clear away the blurriness, glancing over at Trisha before back at the doctor.
“Yea,” he wanted to say. That’s probably not how it exactly came out however, so he followed through with a nod. To think he had been out that long. It made him wonder how long the procedure had taken. That, and how much of a dose they used to sedate him. He had never been through a major operation before, so to feel this sapped was worse than being in pain. At least he could properly do something amid that ache.
