Dante keeps pushing legs spread wide. he gives another hard push the childs head out now. he takes a few deep breaths resting as he reluctantly lets go of Jace's hand. he watches Jace taking care of their child who is still mostly inside. Dante doesn't take notice of the tears running down his cheeks

Jace wipes out the child's airways gently holding its head steady. He reaches out retaking his hand and looking at his tear stricken face "Dante, you can do this, I know it hurts a lot but you're doing great, you're so close, just a few more pushes and it will be here. Come on" He said confidently

being unable to do more than a few noises Dante mouths the words "I can do this." almost as though to himself as he pushes again causing one of the shoulders to get stuck. if he can get the shoulders out the rest should be easy.

Jace gently pushed two fingers in trying to help with one shoulder "Keep going, its almost out" He said leaning over his stomach to kiss him quickly "I love you" he said gently

Dante pushes again not able to answer as the shoulders eventually slip free and the baby is born shortly after wailing as the cold surrounds. Dante looks so exhausted taking a deep breath hearing the crys fill the cave

Jace gently wraps the baby elf in some clothing he had found before gently laying the child on his chest touching the sticky dark hair on his head "You did it Dante. Our little baby girl" he said lovingly wrapping an arm around Dante

Dante gives a smile their daughter on his chest. as he pulls Jace in for a kiss before closing his eyes needing some rest.

Jace smiles gently holding them close to keep them warm as he too falls asleep

Dante twitches an ear hearing something or someone further back in the cave.

Jace stirred a little feeling Dante move "Hmm?" he murmured sleepily as he woke slowly

"i don't think we are alone in the cave." Dante says sleepily hearing noises deep in the cave still.

Jace frowned and quickly stood up alert as he crouched down defensively in front of his mate and child ears picking up any sound or movement in the cave

Dante still picks up the noise but stays curled up with their daughter making sure that she is kept safe. there is a cave lake deeper in that a Demon/bird calls home just at the edge a seeder. his name is Adrian. he keeps his precense quiet ussually unless he sees something he wants.

Jace turns to him "Im going to go and see if there's something there. Go and hide. I will call come back if there is nothing there. I will come back even if there is. Protect yourself and our daughter"

Dante nods and takes her to go hide out of sight. the noises get louder once Dante leaves. ------------- Adrian sences the one he wants is now alone. he sits in the shallows of the lake tentacles waving around in excitment as he trys to lure with noises.

Jace slowly creeps further and further into the cave making as little noise as possible until he finds a lake. He straightens laughing at his insecurity as he believed that it must have simply been fish. He goes to the lake edge to see if he can catch a fish for Dante and his daughter

as Jace lets down his guard and gets closer to the water the black tentacles look like the darkness around and creep forward to grab onto Jace. at a sudden moment Adrian snaps two forward wrapping around Jace's waist as he rises from the water once Jace is in his gasp. the red eyes give away what he is and the fact that his young will be layed as large eggs.

Jace went to scream but stopped himself in fear that Dante and his daughter would put themselves in danger trying to rescue him. He struggled in the grip of the large creature trying to escape from the sticky tentacles and get back to his mate

Adrian seems used to this reaction. and uses a tentacle to pull Jace's clothes to the side letting the elf struggle. one of the larger egg filled tentacles prods at Jaces hole. his kind are known to have only 3 to 4 eggs.

Jace struggled feeling his hole tense around nothing at the moment. He began crying completely terrified as he felt so uncomfortable. He struggled widely in his grip completely terrified
