Sam rolled up his loose shirt and leaned back, pushing his stomach forward and trying to accentuate the small bump as much as possible.

"Like this?" he asked.

"Uh..yeah." Janel was certain her face had gained a nice pink hue now. "That's perfect." The female took a blind step back unable to take her eyes off the image her partner portrayed. He was really making an effort and it was calendar worthy.
"Just hold that pose while I get my phone." The brunette requested while backing out like a car into the empty hallway.

Sam wasn't in the most comfortable position, but he continued to hold the pose as he leaned back against the sink. Pregnant... he really was pregnant now. And he would have a whole lot more growing to do by the time the baby would be born.

Baby... he still couldn't believe it. But he was glad that he would be parenting with Janelle as the brunette scurried back into the bathroom.

Janel didn't spare a moment to announce her return and got to taking pictures of the 'mommy' to be as soon as her feet it the bathroom tile. Inner Janel was practically busting at the seams with excitement and shouting 'That's my baby in there!' like a hyper cheerleader. But on the outside, the brunette was calm and composed as she snapped pic after pic until finally ending the importue session with a thumbs up. "You can relax now Sam." She had gotten a prefect picture of 'mother' and baby and looked quite wistful before shutting her phone and letting the hand hold it drop down to her side. "Thank you going with my idea and for humoring me. I promise no one else will see them or even know about this."

"Maybe...maybe we should show it to the professor? Or would that be a bad idea?" he said, rolling his shirt back down over the bump. "I've been taking notes recently for this- we're still getting a grade, after all," he said.

Janel leaned back against the door increasing the distance between herself, her partner and their child. "You mean like a photo journal? Because that would be a good idea and something we can work on together.. If you want to that is." She added the last part with eyes downcast and hands behind her back like a small child. The brunette was still uncertain where they stood on personal space and privacy boundaries.

(Needs a bit of drama. Something either to draw them together or pull them apart)

Sam snorted a bit with laughter. "I'm not sure how much help I would be," he said. "I'm not very good with artsy stuff," he replied, rubbing her shoulder. "Besides, you seem really enthusiastic about it."

(I like it, but what? I would prefer something closer together)

Janel looked up at the contact and met his gaze. "Well, you inspired me." She admitted with a shy smile then hesitated before laying a hand lightly over his. "And an artist is nothing with their muse so I can't do it so it alone. That is to say I.I need you..to do it with me of course." The brunette finished in a hurry while mentally berating herself.
Seriously! I need you.
Where had that even come from?

Sam raised an eyebrow at her stammer, but didn't react beyond that. "I have some paperwork to fill out for the meeting on Thursday. I'll be in the kitchen," he said, leaving the bathroom.

Janel looked the other way and tried not to touch her tingling shoulder as he passed. "all right..I'll-I'll go check on the kids..make sure they're awake and actually getting ready for school." Not that the blonde needed to do that for her beyond perfect son and daughter. But after that mini disaster, she knew it was probably best if Sam and herself went to separate rooms and not cross paths again for another hour or so.
