Two days later, and the baby still hadn't come. Connor was four days past his due date and feeling miserable. He could feel the baby's head deep in his hips and pressing at the entrance to his womb. There was almost no movement anymore. It was just a waiting game.

Verna knew he'd be delivering within the day, having checked him that morning beore they showered. With him so far along sshe'd aken to showering with him, in case he slipped ad to help him was in his state. She had helped him do some stretches that would help induce contractions with mixed success.

Normally, showering with his wife would be a tremendously experience. But Connor was about to deliver and big as a house. There was absolutely nothing he wanted more than to get his baby out. He sighed heavily as he rubbed soap around his huge bump.

Verna kissed the back of his neck softly, "I'm telling you, today is the day,"

"I hope so. Though I do not necessarily want to be pushing our child out of...there..." he said, grimacing at the mere thought. Still, he did want the kid out. The pressure was crazy and he could just feel the baby pushing at the bottom of his womb, just waiting.

Verna smiled wryly, "Babe you know I'd be the one in your shoes if I could," she murmured.

"I know," he said, kissing her forehead gently. He felt a strange break in pressure, sighing a bit in relief. Still, he nothing of it as he finished washing his hair.

Afterward, sh helped him towel off and had him lie down for a back massage in hooes of spurring on his labor.
