They'd finally made it. After nearly 17 years in America's schooling system, Eric and his friends had finally graduated from college. They were a close-knit group, made up of some old friends from the grade school days and some new additions met at college. He'd never been one for parties--ever. His parents had ingrained the "evils of alcohol" into his mind since he was a baby, and had had little more than a beer on a Friday night or wine at a nice restaurant. He'd always gotten away with an excuse of having exams or homework or something to do early in the morning, but now he had none. His roommates were dragging him out to meet the rest of the gang at the bar and have a wild night, and told him it would be good for him. He just hoped they were right...
