((Omg that's a terrible shift!! I hate those the rare times I get them, they literally take up your whole evening and afternoon. :// And I'm not sure? I see them on but maybe they've just been busy and haven't had time to post? o: ))
Ceral scrabbled onto Ivy and clung onto her as they made their way back to her nest. At least he wouldn't be sleeping by himself tonight, and not on the edge of some crappy lake either. The nest was much more comfortable than what he was used to, and it actually took him a little bit to familiarize himself with it. Leaves and twigs were a little odd at first, but within a few minutes Ceral relaxed and settled in next to Ivy, drifting off slowly curled on his side, his tail swung around towards his front in an odd, protective sort of gesture. If push came to shove, Ceral didn't think he'd mind mating with Ivy. She was nice, thankfully considerate of how he felt about breeding and not one of those dragons that pushed the carrier into it; he could see himself being around her for as long as he could. If he got pregnant, wouldn't that mean they'd leave him in here with her for the longevity of his gestation? It was anywhere between seven and a half to eight months he'd been told, so that would give him more time to spend with her. The thing was he just didn't know the deal about how he felt on carrying a clutch anymore. It was too confusing to think about for the night, so Ceral eventually let his mind settle and slept until morning.
He might've slept longer if it wasn't for his name being called, and he scrunched his nose in distaste at the sound of yelling, pushing his face against Ivy's shoulder and groaning. Something about Nym... a guard..? Ceral soon enough lifted his head from Ivy and squinted down at the dragon speaking. Oh, it was that newcomer. He seemed to be sort of isolated for the most part, but maybe that's because he was just new. Ceral had been like that at first. He'd have to get out of that sooner than later. "What?" he called back, rubbing at his face as he sat up a bit. He nudged Ivy, hoping she wouldn't be too annoyed that he'd woken her up. Ceral still wasn't sure what to think about this new dragon. At first glance he didn't look like any other dragon Ceral had ever seen before. If Ky was with Nym, and he was with Ivy, did that mean this guy was brought here for that new seeder? At any rate, Ceral didn't plan on letting up with Ivy because the other guy was here, but with that being said he wouldn't let it force him into getting pregnant faster either.
"A guard?" Ceral stretched slowly, yawning and flexing his fingers before he hunched over, still a bit lethargic from his wake up call. "Mm, we can't do 'nything if a guard got 'em." Ceral frowned. "They'll bring him back." He was sure they would if they had in fact taken Nym. Ky had shown too much of an interest in the tundra dragon for him to have been taken indefinitely. Ceral preferred not to get in the middle of it, but he guessed if Nym wasn't back by that evening they could all group together and figure something out. Ceral had yet to experience anything bad with the guards yet. Sure, they weren't the most pleasant humans around, but he hadn't fought when he'd been brought here, knowing full well he might stir up shit while he was in the enclosure.
