"I will but you're my priority, besides seeing you get your fill is enough to make full already." More eels was brought to the table. "I'll be doing another night patrol but I was assigned on a shift that starts after dawn so I might make it home earlier than usual." Danias said as he sat beside Wake and got eels for himself.

Wake nodded as he put more eel on his plateam and continued eating. He was silent a moment in thpugh as he then looked at his mate, " Will you have some off days when it comes time for the birth, or should we start looking for a healer to help the delivery?

Danias paused from eating to look his mate. He then placed a hand on top of Wake's own and answered with an an assuring smile. "Of course I'll be there when you birth. I'm sure that the chief would understand a few days of absence. But I'm up to the idea of having a healer's aid. It may be safer for you and the babies to have professional help when you birth. But the decision is still on you. Are you okay having a healer around or would prefer giving birth with only the two of us?"

Wake furrowed his eyebrows," I would like a healer. I know when it starts, it will be all instinct but just in case, I would like some assurance. Maybe it will change when we have more children, if you want more anyway." He then chuckled," Though let's focus on the ones we have now."

"Well the idea of having more children fine with me." Danias chuckled as the idea of many baby mermaid or merman came into mind. 

"Being a part of a big family; I'm very open about having my own. But you're right." He then placed botj of his hands to the tiny bump of his mate. "The little ones in here are our priority."

To that, Wake nodded and put a hand over his mates, as he leaned against him," I agree." He then looked up at Daniad," I need to go to the market today. I'm out of the coral used to keep my morning sickness in check and I'm sure not every day will go as smoothly as this one."

Danias listened intently to his mate as he ate his breakfast, humming in response. A noise then filled the room. It was the radio of Danias making the noise.

"Ravine to Comet, do you hear?"
Danias responded."This is Comet, I hear you." News about a planned raid was relayed to him.
"I'll be there soon." He then looked to Wake's direction. "Mind if I escort you there?"

Wake was silent while he let his mate talk. He moved, swishing his tail in the motion to move next to his mate, done eating. A smile graced his features as he was asked if he would allow Danias to escorts him and nodded," I would love it if you would. Not often we go out together, with work and such."

Danias smiled back then got up from his seat to kneel in front of Wake's stomach. The slight bump was cupped as Danias looked up to his mate. "It's been a while has it. I'm sorry, but I promise to make it up to you."

The swim with Wake was wonderful. It gave him a comforting feeling. And looking at the bump of his mate, he felt complete, a family. Even more so when they happened to pass by a park that had families strolling. He tightened his hold on Wake at the thought and a hand was placed on the smaller's stomach. 'Soon...'

Wake smiled when Danias cupped his bump saying that he would make up for it, and he nodded," I trust that you will, though don't push yourself."

As they swam, he looked over at the park of coral and sea grass and smiled at all the families. He was looking forward to the day that his family could play there. His thoughts were stopped when he was pulled close and a hand rested on his bump, and he chuckled, flicking his ribbon like fins over his mates tail," Thinking of the future as well?"

"Hmmm..."Danias hummed a yes as he looked at Wake. "I hope that when the little ones come, we'll be as much as happy as those families." A happily squealing girl caught his attention. The girl was speedily swimming towards her parents in a fit of giggles; and the parents caught her with such enthusiasm, smiles on their faces.

 His hand then moved to soothe circles on his mate's bump. "Love, someday we will be like them, maybe even happier. I'm so excited for that day to come!"
