On the edge of the human realm was the realm of magic and deep within its heart was the realm of the Fae Dray the prince of the Fae kingdom returned from his royal duties to find to his horror the entire place destroyed by a hoard of vicious river trolls. 

While searching through the rubble he hears a faint cry from the distance and goes to investigate and finds one lone survivor another young Fae around his age

"Good heavens are you ok" he called to the injured Fae hoping he is

Tje small fae looked up his pale turqoise eyes scered "help me"

His body was covered in scrapes and there was a huge gash on his side ozzing iridesent blood heavly. His robe he wore was torn to shreds and he was trying so hard to stay awake stearing at the strange fae

Dray flew over to the young Fae and quickly cast a spell to remove the rubble covering him. He then scoops the young Fae into his arms and fly's him to the only safe part of the forest an old cave 

"here you lie down and rest while i help" he then goes to his bag and begins mixing a healing potion

The tiny faes wings were terquoise like his eyed and torn badly one was broken at the base.he seemed dazed and non of the injurys could have come from a troll. He was mabey 5'3" and had pale blue hair that fell to his shoulders in stuttle waves. His skin had a faint blue glow to it that was fading as he lay thete

Dray completed the potion, knelt over the young Fae and began some indistinct chanting. Once done the potion became a cloud of magic and fell lightly on the Fae healing his wounds and wings, it also brought some color back to his cheeks

"there we go you look a bit better but dont get up yet you still need to recover" he placed a hand on the young Fae's shoulder and got a shiver down his spine from what he knew was a vibe

"Thank you im naomi your very kind" his eyes glazed over as he closed his eyes sleep raking hold

While the young Fae slept Dray decided to use his magic and look into the past and see what happened in the attack. He used the young Fae as an anchor and to his shock saw the whole attack. it was not trolls who had committed the crime it was a demon he couldn't believe it his realm was invaded by a demon and for some reason this one Fae was saved

His small form looked so frail. As he slept he somtimes mubled incoherent words. His skins clor slowly returning. Without warning his small frame jerked upward so he was sitting up letting out a blood curdling scream of terror trembling violently having a night terror."AHHHHHHHHH!"

Dray had no choice but to wait for the young Fae to wake up and find out what happened as his vision was basic

hearing the scream Dray ran over " good heavens are you ok you must have had a nightmare"

"IT WAS EVERY WHERE IT KILLED THEM ALL BUT I LEFT ME IT SAID I WASNT WORTH KILLING AND IT LAUGHED SO DARKLY IT LUAGHED IT ENJOYED IT THERE WAS SO MUCH BLOOD IT ONLY TOOK SECONDS HE WAS SO FAST!"

totally out of character Dray put his arms around the Fae and held him to relax him

"now try and be calm i know it was a demon but i figured out why you were spared, you are pregnant and this demon must have shown some shread of mercy im not sure why but be thankful"

The small fae looked asolustley in shock "p-pregn-nat!?" he was trembling still and then he started to cry "i-i cant i-it was r-rape im not i cant its impossible!" he sobed hed run away to get awsyfrom his rapist and now he was having his child why had the world been so crule to him?

Dray gave a pat of compassion 

"i know its awful but i dont think it was a rape your at least 3 months gone it must have been your partner i know you had one from the locket your wearing"

"in fact i have met you, you worked in the palace kitchens ive seen you lots of times bringing the meals"

"He was my partner until he broke his promise then he left me for another and when that didnt work he came back but id moved on he fotrced himself pn me and made me coform to his will with voilence the person i loved no longer exist he disapeated into that man 4 months ago i no longer who he is and i only wear tjis locket becuse i cant take it off if i so much as try itll shock my entirs body it not a gift its a colar to keep me in check and track me" naomi sobed pulling his knees up placing a hand on his stomache

Well we cant have that" Dray channeled his power and tore off the necklace reducing it to dust "there now you are free and the horrible man who forcwd himself on you has been punished and i swear by my family name no harm shall befall you or your baby"

Naomi looked up what was a king doing being so kind to his servant i made no sense but he didnt complain instead he did somthing completly out of line he lenead in and placed a soft kiss on drays lips tears of thankfulness streaming down his cheeks

Dray was shocked by this but decided to return the kiss

"i promise your baby will be safe we can go somewhere and i can help you till your time comes"

Dray rose and helped Naomi to his feet 

"come with me"

he then flew off
