C Slaves to Magic: Feral Blood (closed with Hyenadog)
#21

Selen took his turn to try and run his fingers through Tobias' tangled mess, without much more success. He did so gently, without pulling or tugging, as if he was trying to find an uninterrupted path. "That'd be a shame." The Blessed commented, his tone a bit wistful. The momentary melancholy was quickly pushed away though. "Maybe it can be salvaged though! I could use a bit of a scrubbing too, to be honest." He admitted, feeling a bit too slimy for a reputable lord of the house. He was already going to ruffle a bunch of feathers later, might as well do so looking presentable.

He rolled over the bed to spring to his feet, pointing to a door over to the side. "It's right there. Can you stand?" Selen asked, offering a supportive hand.

Tobias made a bit of a face when Selen tried running his fingers through his hair, feeling light tugs despite how gentle the man was being. He sighed softly when he moved away, watching him and giving a small nod. "Alright." he said, giving him a smile. He slowly moved to get up, pausing when he noticed his clothes were nothing but a few rags.

He held it around his waist as he carefully stood, wobbling a little before reaching for Selen's hand. "I can stand...But not walk." He said, closing his eyes.

"Alright, then excuse me." Without giving Tobias pause to question what he meant, Selen placed one arm around Tobias's back and swept his legs up with the other, gingerly lifting the boy up once more to carry him on his arms. Only this time he wasn't an unconscious, injured mess at least. Progress indeed! "Baby steps!" He gave Tobias a charming grin and carried the Loup Garou to the bathroom, letting a bit more of his restorative magic seep into the boy while he was at it.

Although the bathroom itself wasn't ostentatious in its decor, there were a few things that clearly showed Selen wasn't a run of the mill mage. Not only did he have a tub where two people could more than easily fit, there was a shower as well. What was most amazing though was the available hot and cold magic powered water taps. Selen indulged in a good soak here and there, and if he had the means to make it easier than having his servants carry water every single time then all the better. Such a relaxing moment would have to wait though.

Selen deposited Tobias underneath the shower, the white mosaic wall on one side and the glass panel on the other near enough so the boy could support himself if need be. He stepped away, proceeding with the absolutely non-chalant tossing of his own clothes. "I'll need to get wet anyway, so might as well. Hope you don't mind too much." he mumbled through the vest he was currently trying to get out of.

Tobias made a surprised noise when Selen scooped him up, though he shouldn't be surprised since the man had carried him here to begin with. He put an arm over his shoulder for added support, taking a moment to really look around.

His parents had been well off, but this was far beyond that. Tobias couldn't help the look on his face. A look of quiet awe. Especially at the amenities in the bathroom. He saw the tub and instantly wanted to just soak in a warm soothing bath. But first he needed to remove the filth covering him.

He wobbled when he was set down, bracing one hand on the tile and looking to Selen. He quickly looked away when he began to undress, a faint blush crossing his cheeks. He was quite shy and modest, despite his affliction. Hesitant to remove the tattered remains of his pants. "Right, right. Makes sense." He sighed, discarding the scrap of cloth and standing faced more away from the mage. He didn't want anyone looking at how bony he had become...and he just associated nudity with his bestial side.

Obviously on the other end of the shame spectrum was Selen, an expert in undressing in record time. Albeit for different reasons, Tobias wasn't the only one in the house who was uncomfortable with the Blessed parading around naked, and he'd taken advantage of the awkwardness plenty of times before. Even without a devious motivation, Selen was simply comfortable in his own skin, regardless of the cover.

The markings he'd sported before were now much more obvious, a dull, dark purple contrasting starkly against the pale hue of Selen's skin. It wasn't without scars, a clearly defined bite mark wrapping around his right side, just over the hip in still somewhat angry pink. Unaware of Tobias's discomfort, Selen approached the boy to turn the taps, gently pushing Tobias aside slightly on the shoulder to get some lukewarm water running. He'd felt how thin the Cursed was before, so it didn't surprise Selen to find mostly bone under his touch. "Is it good for you, too cold or... too hot?" What did catch his eye were the numerous scars across Tobias skin, giving him a small pause. How rough had Tobias's life been in the wild? Selen couldn't even begin to guess.

Tobias was insecure about his body. He'd always been insecure about himself, even before he transformed. He kept his back to Selen, feeling too awkward, especially with how relaxed the blessed was about undressing.

That didn't mean he didn't catch a glimpse of the man's body, noting the markings on his skin. He also noticed he had his own scar, but didn't want to mention it. He made a small noise when Selen moved to turn on the water, shifting closer to the wall. When questioned about the water, he held one hand out to feel it, tilting his head slightly before moving to adjust the water a little. "There." He nodded, giving him a small awkward smile.

Most of his scars were from a life in the wild. Mostly small scratches from other animals, a few bites. The worst being the scars across his face and long swipe scars across his back...both clearly very old and faded.

"Lets get to it then!"

And so began the thorough scrubbing of the blood and dirt caked Tobias, with Selen patiently going over the cumulative layers of gunk armed with a sponge and a good soap. The hair situation was left to Tobias for the most part, for the sole reason it would probably be too painful if Selen started yanking at it with a brush himself, though the Blessed seemed a bit disappointed for not being able to play with the long black locks. Instead, Selen focused on leaving almost every square inch of skin spotless, with a commitment to Tobias's welfare that would rival the most dedicated servant's. Other than Tobias's privates, which he almost went over by accident. "Sorry!" A bit of redness flushed by Selen's cheeks in that moment, and it wasn't due to the shower.

Tobias let Selen start working on his body while he worked through his hair. He made a few frustrated noises at some of the more stubborn knots, but he managed to get through them. His hair was much longer than it seemed, falling below his shoulders by a couple inches.

He was enjoying the scrubbing Selen was giving him, his light tan skin being revealed under all the filth. He seemed to zone out until the man accidentally brushed against his privates. He gasped and turned away, cheeks flushing as well. "It....it's alright." He muttered, taking the cloth to wash himself. He moved under the shower head to rinse himself, letting his raven black hair hang down his back.

A bit at a loss for words, Selen stepped back, finding it even harder for him to return to a neutral state of mind the more he watched Tobias's form. Was he really that deprived of intimacy, to be so enticed by a starving stick with the most amazing blue eyes and the blackest hair—

Yes he was, Selen realized, catching himself before his imagination began filling in the gaps of Tobias's malnourished body. "Erm, I'm going to go ask Liba for clothes your size, and lunch! I'll be right back." The Blessed announced, more to force himself away than anything else, stiffly marching to the door before being out of Tobias's sight and almost dashing naked through the halls.

Tobias was oblivious to Selen's internal struggle, his back to the man as he finished cleaning himself. He only turned his head when he spoke again, looking somewhat confused when he took off like that. Not even taking a robe or towel.

He was glad for the privacy, turning the water off and squeezing the remainder out of his hair. He looked around for a moment before finding a towel to wrap himself in. He grabbed two, one for around his waist, and one for his hair. When Selen returned, he would find Tobias sitting on the edge of the tub drying his hair quietly.

((I'm so sorry for the continuous delays, work has been kicking my ass and draining me absolutely to the bone D: ))

When Selen returned, he was composed again, smilling and dressed, a small bundle of clothes on his hands. He still didn't look like a member of a powerful blessed shifter clan, barefoot and wearing a simple white shirt and trousers, the leftover humidity adding an extra bit of curl to his unruly hair. The clothes on the bundle looked a bit more colorful, definitely not matching Selen's sort of monochrome-ish taste. "I'm back, Liba collected some clothes she thinks might fit you. At least height wise." He set them by Tobias's side so the youth could take his pick, and sat on the other side with his back turned, giving Tobias a bit of privacy, yet still lingering behind should he need support.

"You're my guest, so apparently it would be bad form to have you wander around the house in the shreds I found you in. Hope there's something to your taste in there though, Liba was a bit adamant my clothes not only wouldn't fit, but they were kinda drab." Selen chuckled, his ear still warm from the maid pulling him down for rushing around half naked and wet.

(its alright, no problem. :3)

Tobias looked up when he heard Selen walk up, a small smile crossing his face. He tilted his head slightly at the way the man dressed, but shrugged it off. The man could dress however he wanted. He looked at the clothing brought for him, setting the towel down and reaching to pick some up. "I don't mind it being loose." He said, looking over the clothing.

He chuckled at Selen's words, shaking his head slightly. "this works." He said, finding a loose top and a pair of pants with a drawstring waist. He stood and slipped them on before going back to drying his hair. The loose clothes helped hide how thin he was, giving a better idea of how he would look once he was back to a healthy weight.

((Damn summer x_x))

The blessed nodded his head in approval at the outfit. It was still aparent Tobias was thin, but not so much people would stare and gossip. The thought drew a small sigh from Selen. Damn gossip. Favorite past time of everyone. The minute they set foot outside his room it would be only a matter of time before the presence of a guest of the 'young lord' floated everywhere. As long as he could keep the Loup side of Tobias under wraps until a solution was found, all would be fine.

"Looking good! Feeling better too, hopefully." Selen smiled. "Feel like eating something, or want to get some air? I'm told my fur is quite silky to sit on." He winked playfully.

(lol, its ok)

Tobias continued drying his hair quietly, squeezing the water out of it into the towel. He shifted himself, not noticing how his body arched when he lifted his arms to work the towel. For the first time, he wasn't thinking about his life outside...He wasn't trapped inside his own body while a beast ran around free.

He took the towel off and set it down, running his fingers through his long hair. He smiled to Selen, nodding. "I feel a lot better." He said with a small nod. He tilted his head when he asked what he wanted. "Some fresh air would be nice." He muttered, looking out the window.

His violet gaze lingered on the graceful form of the other boy, a far cry away from the mangled, hunched beast Selen had found in the forest. For a moment, the blessed wondered if Tobias had ever danced or something of the sort. It was a bit entrancing, to say the least, especially coupled with that smile...

Finding himself falling into another daze, Selen stood up and moved around the tub to offer a supporting hand to Tobias. "Let's go then. It's a nice day for a run in the woods, and the orchards are ripe for the taking." As Tobias stood, Selen crouched to all fours, his shape shifting into a large white wolf, one of his preferred forms, streaks of dark purple sprinkled on his back, with a fluffy, almost lion like mane Tobias could get a good grip on. 'Hop on.' Selen's voice ringed in Tobias' mind.

Tobias really didn't know how he looked, at least in the eyes of his observer. All he saw when he looked at his reflection was a malnourished stick of a man, but with a healthy diet and help from Selen, he could easily develop into a graceful dancer. Slender arms and legs, and a natural flexibility that came with being a shapeshifter, it would be easy for him to mimic the smooth movements of animals even while in human form.

But he was still unaware of these things. He lived in the moment, and at the moment he was a bit preoccupied with his hair. He looked up when Selen offered a hand, blinking for a moment before hesitantly taking it. "I, um...Don't think I can do much running....." He mumbled, pausing when the blessed suddenly shifted forms.

A twitch pulled at his face as he suddenly moved away, putting the towel over his head and holding it there. "N-no..." He gasped, hearing the blessed's voice in his head. His mental state was still so fragile, seeing the other shift forms and absorbing the mana released from him stirred the beast within. He stumbled back several steps before bumping into a wall and sliding down to the floor, his breathing picking up. He didn't know how to calm himself down, only how to resist...which only caused more pain, compounding his panic and fear. He was already starting to change, crying out and falling to his side, curling up and shaking.
