"Okay, whatever you say" Max struggled but managed to get on his back while his stomach still grew.

Amanda rubbed his back, gently at first, but then a little deeper. "Try to relax. Don't fight the pain, work with it."

"Work with it?" Max said. "How do you work with it?"

[pushinghard]

"Let it do it's job. Just think about how it's helping bring the baby into the world," she explains, still rubbing his back.

Max tried relaxing himself...and it worked, until the head crowded and the burning sensation made him scream.

[pushinghard]

"Honey, breathe, don't push yet." She slips on a pair of gloves and moves between his legs.

[DaRealLeon]

Max obeyed and took a few deep breaths.

[pushinghard]

"Push with the next contraction."

[DaRealLeon]

"Okay.." Max took a deep breath and pushed.

[pushinghard]

"There you go! Two more."

[DaRealLeon]

Max panted when he pushed again. "Urrrrrrggghhh!"

"One more, just like that," she encourages.

"Okay..." He said and pushed as hard as he could.

"A girl," she smiles, drying the newborn.

[DaRealLeon]

Max was relieves when his stomach shrunk to it's usual size. "Good." He said. "I'll take her to the orphanage tomorrow."

Amanda wraps the baby carefully. "Want to hold her?"
