"Hey, we can stay at my house tonight after we battle Brock!" Kyle said in realization. "Speaking of which, nearly forgot, I have berries for Brock. Should we swing by his place first, or my home so you can meet my mother? Either way, we are headed to the same place, Brock and his family are my next door neighbors."

"Let's meet Brock." Sean said.

"Ok, follow me" Kyle said, "I know Pewter City like the back of my hand. Hopefully he's at home, and not the Pewter City Gym."

Sean followed Kyle to Brock's house.

"See the house right over there?" Kyle asked pointing, "That's mine. Anyway, this one's Brock's." Kyle knocks on the door.

"Hey, Kyle." Brock smiled. "Who's your friend?"

"This is Sean. We met in Pallet Town." Kyle answered, "Sean, this is Brock. Oh yeah, I grabbed you a ton of berries! This time, though, I don't need to watch any gym battles in return. We'll be the battle!"

"I look forward to battling both of you." Brock smiled.

"Well, we'll swing by the gym later Brock!" Kyle said. "We're about to head next door to my mom's"

"Alright, sounds good. I got things to do right now anyway." Brock replied. "Oh yes, Sean was it? You look so much like an old friend of mine."

"I do, actually." Sean smiled.

"Yes, you do. You look like my old friend Ash." Brock replied, "I don't think it's possible, he always traveled a lot, but who knows, with him being a Pokemon Master now, he might have finally settled down. Last time I saw him, we'd just returned from Sinnoh. We shook each other's hands, bid each other farewell at Route 1. Last I'd seen of him."

"Well, see ya, Brock." Sean said.

"So, Brock's was your dad's friend huh?" Kyle said as they left to head to his home. "I'm surprised you never told him you were Ash's son."

"I did told you. At the Pokemon Center back in Viridian City." Sean said.

" I was actually talking about Brock, not myself. I know you told me in Viridian." Kyle said as he entered his house "Mom, you home!? Hmm, guess not..." Suddenly there was a cry, and Kyle got tackled over. It was Yami, his mother's Yamask.

"Is that another Pokemon from Unova?" Sean asked.

"Yep! She met it in some ruins on an archaeological dig." Kyle replied. "She was looking for fossils. It's when she found the plume fossil that was revived in Archeops. Well, I guess she's at the museum..."

"Then let's go." Sean said.

"Alright." Kyle said as they left for the museum. "The museum is really cool. At least I think it is, but I'll let you judge when we get there"
