Jeff immediately bore down to push again, exhaling with an "aaaaaah" as he pushed while Sophie counted, encouraging him.

Jeff pushed a third time with the contraction, exhaling as Sophie kept count. Jeff could really feel the pressure building inside him as the baby moved further into his birth canal.

"Yeah, that's it. Eight, nine, ten and breathe", she said. "Good job, Jeff.....there was now a bigger flow of amniotic fluid. That means that your little boy moved a bit", she explained and smiled.
