George didnt say anything, just sigh deeply. When he got back to his room, it took a long time for him to fall back asleep as well, when he thought over and over again about Al.
He had dressed himself crisply the next morning. He looked out at the blue sky and suddnely want to escort Al to the dining hall. He quickly gave himself a very reasonable reason. He had to look after the babies. And to check on how Al's condition waa after that night. He knocked on the adjoining door and pushed it.open when he heard something that sounded like a "come in." He was a little surprised to see Al still on the bed. "Alford?" He asked, thinking maybe Al had woken up late. "Did you oversleep? Come on. It's good for you to have regular hours of meals." He said walking towards the bed, when he noticed how Al was pale. "Al?" He asked, touching his forehead sitting down on the bed.
