"Go on, don't ask for permission anymore." Andrea said with a laugh, pushing him slightly.

**Sure.**

"Thank you, ma'am," Brandon giggled as he retired to his cabin.

Another two months passed, and Brandon was starting to show quite a bit. The growth spurts had started rather abruptly, and at this point he was already looking like he was far into a pregnancy with a single, normal baby. He sat rubbing his belly on his bed as he waited for Andrea, who had said she would meet him in his cabin today.

Andrea walked in, a few essentials in her hand, seeing Brandon made her smile, "Hello, how are you feeling today Private?" She asked as she rubbed his belly.

"Tired..." he said with a yawn. "I think I had a growth spurt last night; must've sapped the energy out of me. Plus look how much bigger I am compared to just yesterday!"

"You look okay." Andrea said with a gentle smile, things have changed for her and Brandon, sitting by his side, she looked at him, "Nothing seems to be wrong." She added as she ruffled his hair.

"Thanks, ma'am,  that makes me feel good," Brandon smiled. His training had ceased now that he'd started to grow. The only thing the officers and doctors cared about was that he ate and gained weight for the babies, though he could never stay full for long. "What's the plan for today, colonel?"

"To be honest, I got a day off cause the officers said I needed to take care of you." She said as a blush began appearing on her cheeks.

"Take care of me? I'm...not really sure what I need you to do, other than just sit here. To be honest the whole reversal of the chain of command is unsettling," he said as he saw her expression change slightly. "But if it's what we have to do then I guess that's fine. We can just...I dunno, talk for now."

"Um, alright, what do people usually talk about that's not military tactics?" Andrea asked with a frown.

"I don't know...life? The past, the future, the latest TV shows," Brandon laughed at Andrea's apparent confusion. "What do you know that isn't military related? Do you have plans for after the military?"

[EnamelEyes]

Andrea blushed at the thought of a life after the military. "I don't think I've a plan for after..." She mumbles, lookinganywhere but at Brandon, "If anything I'd just like a family with someone but that's too damn impossible." She added quickly.

Brandon had a concerned look on his face at Andrea's reaction to the question. He'd never seen the colonel so unsure of herself before. "Who says it's impossible? I certainly don't see your meaning."

She rolled her eyes, "Brandon, let's face it, I'm no dainty princess boys like, I'm an army brat. And let's not forget, boys tend to want slender women and I ain't that either." She said as she looked at her rough hands, "That's why my mom was major who married a colonel." She said almost in frustration.

"There's nothing wrong with the way you are. Not every guy needs a damsel in distress to save. Hell, some of us might be that damsel," he continued as he placed a hand on his belly. "And a lot of guys like military types, with their stern demeanor and big muscles," he gave Andrea's bicep a playful squeeze before muttering, "...like me, for example./

Andrea blushed at the compliment given to her, "Thank you Brandon, I never thought anyone'd say that." She said, ruffling the Private's hair, now with more affection than her usually friendly ones.

"I never thought I'd actually be saying it, to be honest," he grabbed her hand off his head and held it briefly in his own. "Normally I'd expect to get a pretty severe punishment for hitting on my commanding officer."

"Yeah, well there's bias in the system." Andrea said in an almost teasing manner.

"Is there, now? I'd file a complaint about the unfairness of it all," he teased, "but it goes way over head anyway. Seems like it'd be much easier just to have my commander sort it all out, you know?"

[EnamelEyes]

"Your commander already did." Andrea said with a smirk as she bent down, pausing midway, remembering that she mustn't kiss anyone without their consent. Pulling back, she murmured an apology.

"It's okay, ma'am. I...I want this too. I do." Brandon leaned in and gave her a light kiss on the cheek. He wanted the colonel badly, but still held himself back, awaiting her own submission to her feelings.
