A little over fifteen minutes later, Gavin felt extreme pressure near his birth canal. "I--I think I need a to push." Gavin told Jennifer.

Room 304:
Jennifer quickly grabs a pair of gloves and lubricant to prepare to check Gavin, "Okay why don't you get into position and I will check you and see if you are fully dilated" she tells him as she moves to beside the bed.

Room 304: Gavin got into position and groaned a little, just wanting this part to be over with.

Room 304:
After Gavin is in position Jennifer makes quick work of examining him before the next contraction can hit. "Good news," she says as she removes her gloves and covers him back up. "You are fully effaced and dilated to 10 with the baby already at station +1. It is time to get you moved to the OR to start pushing." She says as she stands up to make the call to the doctor. "An orderly should be here in a moment to transfer you. In the meantime try to just breathe through the contractions. We don't really want you pushing until we get you into the delivery table."

Room 304:

Gavin nodded and put his legs down on the bed. He was slammed by another contraction. He did his best to fight the urge to push. A few minutes later, an orderly brought him to the operating room. He groaned as another contraction hit. He was covered in sweat. He grabbed onto the rails.

Room 308:

Scott can't see over his belly to watch as the doctor inserts her fingers into him. He gasps and lets out a little moan.
