Yuval nodded, as he wanted to make sure that Griffin's sister had the best birthday ever.

"Don't give your sister any hints, though, as it must be a surprise." Yuval added.

"Oh, of course. I haven't even told her I was going here tonight," Griffin replied. "I said I'd be out with a friend."

"Will make it even more surprising when we all turn up." Yuval cracked a smile.

"When should we leave?" His tone was growing steadily more excited as the people around them began to leave, having already got what they wanted earlier.

"We could leave now." Yuval suggested.

(The Skellobillies are all wearing skeleton-like costumes and have their faces painted to resemble skeletons. It's almost 2am, so I'm gonna head off to bed).

"We probably should." It was getting late, and if she wasn't already home, Amanda would be getting to bed soon. "At least, if you want to catch her awake we should."

"That sounds like a plan." Yuval smiled.

The surprise went very well. Amanda suspected nothing, of course, as Griffin came in first, and she almost didn't notice the band come in after him. Thankfully, Griffin managed to catch her entire reaction on tape, enjoying the shocked and surprised faces she made when she realized just who had come to see her.

"I'd say that went well," Griffin said to Yuval, smiling wide.

"The look on her face showed it all." Yuval smiled.

"Thanks so much for agreeing to do this, I think this'll go down as the best birthday ever," Griffin told him.

"It's always an honor." Yuval smiled. "And with that, I must go, although I will be free tomorrow if you and your sister want to come and talk about coming to live on the road with us."

And there was another shock of the night. Come to live with them? On the road? Griffin's jaw hung open for a moment.

"Oh, I--I'll think about it. Thank you."

"I could even teach both of you how to play the bass." Yuval added.

(both the upright bass and the bass guitar).

"That would be -- amazing," Griffin said, his eyes still wide. "I'll think about it, and call you tomorrow."

"Okay." Yuval smiled.

And with that, Yuval and the rest of the Skellobillies left.
