"Interesting strategy." Brock said, "I'll stick with Geodude, though. Use Tackle!"

"Nidoran M., dodge then use Double Kick." Sean called.

"Geodude look out!" Brock called too late as Geodude is struck KO'd by a super effective critical hit. "Tch, well, being as there are two of you, here, and I only have two Gym ready Pokemon on me and I dont have the time to heal and battle Kyle...Congrats, Sean. You've won. Claim your Boulder Badge."

"Awesome work Sean" Kyle said, "Guess it's my turn." Kyle stepped up to the Gym's battlefield.

"Go, Onix!" Brock called as he threw the Pokeball that contains Onix.

"An Onix, huh?" Kyle said, before reaching for Squirtle's Pokeball. He stopped. Brock would probably be expecting a water or grass type. "I think I'll try something different, but it might be crazy. Go Butterfree!"

"A Butterfree? That's an interesting choice. Onix, use Screech." Brock called.

"I have my reasons for choosing Butterfree." Kyle said before Brock ordered his Onix. "Butterfree, dodge and use Confusion!" Kyle said.

Onix took the hit and became confused.

"Alright, it's confused" Kyle said. "Let's add more issues Butterfree! Use Poison Powder!"

Onix became posioned.

"Great job Butterfree! Now his Onix is poisoned as well as confused!" Kyle said, "Now Confusion again!"

Onix took the hit and fainted.

"Did...I just win?" Kyle asked, shocked at how fast the battle went. "Wow, Butterfree is strong."

Brock handed the Boulder Badge to Kyle.
