"Trying to catch up to me are you?" asked Josh. "You know you want it" he said jokingly while swinging his belly like a dancer would swing the hip.

Nate laughs "I'm sure you will majorly pass me up soon. My belly seems to be growing faster than everyone else's"

Josh noticed instantly what Nate was referring to, his bulge pushed against his shirt more than it had when they left the table a few minutes earlier. "Wow, your right" Josh said "hope I pick up soon." "I wonder why" Josh said after a short pause.

"I honestly have no idea. I'm kinda worried about it though" Nate says still rubbing his belly

"Well I had been thinking that you had not been growing as fast, after all you were the only one who's shirt fit when we were eating, perhaps your body and babies are making up for it now" Josh suggested although he was grasping at straws here.

"yeah maybe" Nate says still looking worried

"I'm sure its nothing but do you want to go talk to one of the medical staff here" Josh suggested trying to comfort his friend. He stood up and and said "I will go with you."

"Yeah lets do that just to make sure" Nate says and gets up, walking towards the medical tent

Josh walk with Nate to the medical tent, the nurses are either working on paperwork or fiddling with medical equipment and the two doctors are buried in some work that Josh can't make heads or tails of. None of them notice the two pregnant teenagers who just entered. Just as he was about to clear his throat one of the doctors looked up from his work, obviously looking for something else, he noticed the newcomers and got up. "Hello boys, how is everything coming along?" he asked generally. Josh looked at Nate waiting for him to answer and explain.

"Well I have noticed that my belly has been growing faster than everyone else's and I am a bit worried about it. Even though its probably nothing I just want to make sure everything is alright" Nate says rubbing his belly

"Your right it is probably nothing but there have been strange complications with this process. How about we do an ultrasound, that should tell me everything I need to know." The doctor moved into a improvised examination room pulled a sheet of paper over the table then began to prepare the ultrasound machine.

"yeah alright" Nate goes over to the table and lays down, lifting his shirt to reveal his rounded belly

The doctor proceeded with the examination only mumbling to himself periodically. Once it is over he puts the wand down but it is still ready to do use again, he turns to the Nate to with an unreadable face before beginning his explanation.

Nate waits and starts to freak out a bit when the doctor doesn't talk right away "What is it? Is there something wrong?"

Josh put his arm comfortingly on Nate's should, rage building towards this doctor for the horrible bedside manner.
(I don't have a good explanation so I am letting you explain it)

Doctor: "Your babies are growing more rapidly than intended I cant explain why"

Josh silently gulped, his hand still on Nate's shoulder, and asked the doctor with his eyes what that meant and what would happen. After a moment of nervous silence, he was about to ask that question but the doctor started again.

Doctor: "Nate will probably deliver early before the game ends"

Josh was surprised by this but did not know how Nate was taking it and so he turned to him to see his face.
