Marius chuckled and kissed Astien's neck. "I can get drunk off of you any time."

Astien blushed. "Those are the kind of lines I can't match. And then instead I end up saying..." his blush deepened. "The pussy thing..."

[Eskal]

Marius chuckled. "It's not a competition."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Maybe not for you. You're already winning!" He laughed. "Is your leg feeling better? I was so afraid Seroteth tore through the muscle."

"It's fine. He didn't cut too deep. I'm thankful that you don't have claws though."

Astien laughed. "And why would that be?"

[Eskal]

"For one you would leave scars on my back," Marius teased. "And when Aiden finally comes, I'd rather not have claws in my leg or anywhere else."

"Trust me, when Aiden comes I'll probably be clawing at myself." He leaned in and rested his head on the larger man's shoulder. "I miss when I able to dance. I mean REALLY dance. I used to be able to flip and spin like it was nothing! Of course, Siran would always show me up. And then we'd dance in unison and just have a great time."

[Eskal]

"I hope I get to see that sight some day."

"Maybe if Aiden comes before Cormac and Wyn get married. Maybe then at the wedding."

[Eskal]

"They wont be getting married for a few years at least." Marius chuckled and looked to Astien's belly. "Hpw much longer do you need to cook Aiden?"

"Who knows. You know now that he's not like you or me, and that this isn't a normal pregnancy. The whole 'shocking me while still inside me' thing has NEVER happened before. Who knows when Aiden's planning on coming out."

[Eskal]

"True." Marius smiled and kissed Astien again.

The song ended, and a more lively, upbeat song began. The other people in the room began dancing with greater speed and energy.

[Eskal]

"Want to get something to eat?" Marius asked.

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"I thought you'd never ask! My stomach's been growling for a half hour now. I guess the music's been covering up the noise." He winced at a hard kick to his ribs. "Ow! I guess there's no drowning out Aiden."

[Eskal]

Marius chuckled. "Let's feed him then."

Astien led Marius to the dining hall, where people sat as servants brought out plates of food. Dishes were brought out to the two almost as soon as they sat down. With his usual ravenous hunger, Astien began tearing into his food. Some warriors from the Guild of Berserkers were in the room as well, laughing, being loud, arm wrestling, an generally being rowdy, though in undeniably good spirits. Some of the nobles looked annoyed by their behavior.

Marius chuckled and ate the food. "This is delicious."
