"Oh, and pull your nose out of those books, would you? Your friend's kind of worried about you."

"Why would they worry if I'm reading?"

"It's not tht you're reading, it's that you're doing nothing else, apparently."

"I went sledding and helped make cookies," Cormac stated.

"Well, that's just what the big guy said."

[Eskal]

Cormac nodded. "I'll try not to read too much, then."

I'Karis nodded, and went back into the nursery.

[Eskal]

After a while Cormac decided to head out to the market to buy some ingredients for dinner.

Astien stirred and opened his eyes. He couldn't help but mile at the sight of Delas and Marius.

Marius had drifted off beside Astien.

Astien are fully untangled himself from the larger mans arms, and made his way out of the room. Passing by the nursery, he saw that the changing table was now fully assembled, and a note was left on top of it. Astien walked over an picked it up.

Astien chuckled. He put the note down and headed downstairs, looking for the elf. It seemed he was no longer around, however. Astien sighed. Needing something to do, he entered his music room and looked at his piano. A bit of practice, a nice song would do him some good about now. He put a record on the nearby phonograph, something to play along to, and he seated himself at his piano. His fingers Danes across the keys as he played.

Cormac returned a while later with his arms filled with bags of groceries. He put the food away and made his way to the music room.

Astien didn't immediately notice Cormac enter, he was too engrossed in his music, an singing along with the record playing.

Cormac smiled as he listened to the music.

Unaware of his audience, Astien kept singing, loudly and freely. He was enraptured in the song.

Marius woke up and made his way to the music room.

Hearing the music, Delas woke up and went down to the music room, guitar in hand. The song Astien was singing didn't have a place for guitar in it, so Delas just watched.

Marius smiled and wrapped his arms around Astien and kissed his head.

Astien jumped at the surprise of Marius' touch, throwing him out of his trance and his rhythm.

"Glad to see that you're feeling better." Marius nuzzled his neck.
