"Guess we had to speed up. The storm is like really coming. If we couldnt finish this within the next 20 minutes i think we would have to leave it headless, a zombie snowman, that's new." Stephan smiled as he minutely dhifted himself so he was shelding Talon from most wind.
Talon nodded "alright." they both tried to finish it but the snow man ended up with a small head and a long orange nose. Talon chuckled at the sight of it. "Come on, thats good lets head in." He was starting to get pretty cold the temperature was droping.
They had just gotten inside and Talon had just removed his jacket when he was taken by anther pain again it was mostly around his back but this time also centered around his belly. "S-stephan." he stuttered gritting his teeth.
Stephan was taking off his jacket too when he heard his husband, he got to his side within a second and caught his faltrring form. Talon squeezed on stephan's outstretched arms and it showed how much pain he was enduring. Stephan lifted up Talon who was engulfed in the pain and put him gently down on the couch, putting him to sit sideways across Stephan's lap before the contraction slowlg died down. Stephan looked at his watch and saw it was 1.5 hours from the last one. "The belly is also hurting this time?"
Talon nodded slowly "Yea.. it was.." He managed to get out after the pain had passed he glanced over to the window then back at Stephan a bit concerned it occurred to him for the first time that if the baby came today they would be stuck at the house the roads weren't safe enough to drive on and no one would reach them.
Stephan saw how Talon glanced at the window and understood his concern immediately. He tried to console Talon "well it could take a it of time.... and even if the baby's coming today.... we arent without experience ourselves." He joked weakly. He indeed had done his homework after last time, but he had pictured this birth to be in a hospital. Stephan knew he had to calm Talon down and said "well let's see. The contractions are still pretty far apart. The baby had been really reluctant to come out so far, he may not want to get out thid quick."
Talon nodded resting a hand on his belly he seemed to calm down slightly. Though he wasn't really sure he was happy either way. He was glad the baby was finally coming, he would have just rathered it not been in a snowstorm but Stephan was right. It could still take awhile
"Hmm you are a bit cold. How about a shower and then maybe try to nap a bit? I bet you had used some enrgy just now." Stephan rubbed on Talon's hands trying to warm it up. He was planning on some belly or back rub after the shower to relax Talon, and a nap would be good if he was indeed going into labor.
Talon smiled lightly and nodded standing back up with Stephan's help he went to take a shower and warm up for a bit. The water felt good on his back and it did help a lot.
Stephan sneaked into the bathroom too, already stripped, and took th3 showerhead to blast it on the lower back of Talon. He out back the shower head after awhile and started massaging with his own hands, focusing on his hips and back, slowly stepping in the tub as Talon leant back against his shoulder under the warm water.
Talon let out a small sigh feeling some of the tension ease up. He stayed there with Stephan until the water began to get cold and it was only then that he decided it was time to get out. He had just managed to stand when he was hit by anther contraction. groaning he held on the Stephan tightly.
Stephan held Talon tight, grabbing thr towel nearby to wrap him up and dried him. He rubbed on Talon, mumbling encouragements to him and breathing with him to get Talon through the contraction. It was just 50 minutes from the last one and Stephan frowned. He nontheless helped Talon waddle through to the bedroom first when the contraction was over.
Once back in the bed room he curled up under the blankets where it was warm. He also managed to throw on a T-shirt and shorts. He was aware of how the contractions were becoming closer though he wasn't really keeping much track of the time.
Stephan got a hot pack ready to be placed on Talon's lower back, relexing as much as possible the tension. He kissed on Talon's forehead and dimmed the lights. "Try sleeping for awhile? Do you want me accompanying you?"
Talon nodded "Yes please" he said softly moving over a bit so Stephan could join him in the bed. He really didn't want to be alone at the moment. The storm outside raged on causing the lights to flicker slightly.
Stephan got in behind Talon, rubbing his belly and cradling it in his arms. He nibbed behind Talon's neck. "Now close your eyes, let the sleep take over you." Stephan said in a soothing voice, rubbing the belly and the waist, trying to lure him into unconsciousness.
Talon closed his eyes and after a few minutes managed to drift off to sleep. For awhile he slept peacefully curled up with Stephan but was awoken by a contraction after a few minutes. Talon groaned a hand moving to his side as the pain took over. This one was stronger then the other ones had been.
Stephan frowned deep. This was progressung much faster than his liking. He rubbed Talon's back and reminded him to breath. "Just keep the air going, pant, and deep and short breathes, yes just like that." He felt the contraction to be a bit longer than before, taking some time for Talon to relax. "That's a strong one?"
Talon nodded finally relaxing after a bit. "Yea, it was." and it was hard to keep the worry out of his voice because the storm outside showed no sign of slowing and after waiting for almost an extra week things seemed to be progressing pretty fast now.
"Do you want me to.... check?" Stephan finally addressed directly the issue. He didnt think he could be making too much progess, not with jush a few contractions, but in case they really needed to do that, he thought to check if the mucus plug had gone could be a way.
He blushed slightly before nodding. "Yea, might be a good idea." he removed his shorts and got into a position that Stephan could check him in. He wasn't sure why he was blushing so much it wasn't as if they hadn't been threw this before, though last time had been a lot different.
