"Ooh, yay, I can cook. Truly, I'll be the best mother ever." Trian sniffled. "I didn't think I'd have kids for sixty more years, at least."
"Well, I didn't expect for you to crash land in my backyard."
Trian sniffled. "Yeah..." He was quiet for a moment. "Should we put them up for adoption?" He asked quietly.
"I...I don't know."
"I've got a cousin. He and his wife have been having trouble conceiving."
"Let's sleep on it. It is a big decision."
"Yeah..." Trian crawled under the covers, picked up the remote and flipped on the tv.
Jeremy kissed Trian's cheek. Kiba snuggled up beside Trian.
Trian gave Kiba a kiss. "You're such a good doggy."
Kiba licked Trian's hand.
Trian snuggled up to Jeremy, laying his head on the human's chest, closing his eyes. "I hate this show." He mumbled.
"We could watch something else."
"We should do exactly that." Trian said, not opening his eyes.
Jeremy changed the channel. "How's this?"
Trian stretched out and opened one eye. "Yeah, that's fine." He closed his eyes again. "I love you."
Jeremy hugged him. "I love you too."
"No matter how this plays out, we're going to stay together, right?"
"Of course."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
