"Okay. I think we're done here, so lets go get Astien." He hurried upstairs and sat on the bedside, and began poking Astien's belly. "Wake up wake up wake up…" Aiden kicked out in response to Delas' poking. Delas found it interesting and poked his belly to watch Aiden's little footprints appear. "Wow…"
Marius chuckled. He leaned over and kissed Astien's lips for a few moments before pulling away.
Astien woke up and swatted Delas' hand away. "Stop that." He mumbled with a yawn. "Oh. When did you come home?"
"A while ago," Marius said. "We went out to do a little shopping. Sleep well?"
"I slept… okay." Astien struggled to sit up. "Uh, could you help me?" He blushed. "I'm kind of pinned."
Marius helped Astien up and out of bed and pulled him into another kiss. "I love you," he said tenderly as their lips parted.
Astien blushed. "I love… cookies? Do I smell cookies?"

Delas nodded and ran out of the room. "Marius, c'mon! Bring him down!"
Marius chuckled and helped Astien to the kitchen.
Astien's mouth went agape as he saw the plates of cookies. "Cookies! Why'd tou make cookies without me? I would have loved to have helped."

"Cuz they were a surprise! For you!" Delas chirped. "We knew today must have been hard, so we made these to cheer you u!"
Cormac smiled. "I hope you like them."

(Funny thought: they accidently used salt instead of sugar. XD)
Astien took one of the cookies and scarfed it down. He gave a awkward smile. "Could I have some water?" He asked. "These cookies are very salty. I've heard of salted cookies, but I think you used too much."
Marius got Astien some water.
Delas frowned as he took a bite of one of the cookies. "Bleh! Marius, you were supposed to go get the sugar! Did you get salt instead?"
"I swear I grabbed sugar," Marius said.
Delas reached into the garbage and pulled out the bag used in their cooking. "It says salt! This was a bag of salt!"
"Oh gods," Marius muttered.
"It's the thought that counts right?" Cormac suggested.
"Of course it is." Astien agreed. "I'm touched you went through the trouble for me, even if it didn't go as planned." He reached over and took a cookie. "I can still read what you all wrote. Let's see… 'congrats on engagement!' That's sweet."
Cormac smiled.
"Look at this one! I drew a baby!" Delas said.
"It's nice." Astien smiled.
"Marius, read him some of yours!"
"Um...Ok." Marius picked up some of the cookies. "Astien, you are the sun light to my garden. This one says 'I can't wait to start our new life together.'."
